We're a friendly group of crazy people.
The Brig is a Forum website currently located at Yuku. The Forums were created so that anyone could chat about anything at any time without fear of reproach or being "snapped at" like many forums out there. Elly (the admin) was once a member of a site & forum called "TR Headquarters" a very long time ago, and she noticed that key members were mocking her, then mimicking what she was saying to the great applause of the "cliques" that had formed within the board.
This seemed wrong and sad - especially as she began to search around she found most places cold and unfriendly towards "new" members, calling them "n00bs" and "newbies". She also found most roleplaying forums far, far too strict so she encouraged an easier, 'freestyle' method on the Brig. You can be formal or relaxed, rant or need a shoulder to cry on. It's all good at the Brig.
